What Makes The Nitto Neo Gen Special?
The Neo Gen is actually a 280 treadwear ultra-high performance, or UHP for short, all-season tire. The tread pattern of the Neo Gen is unlike most tires, let alone all-season tires. Featuring a silica-reinforced tread compound and asymmetrical non-directional tread pattern design, the Neo Gen has performance and comfort where and when you need it.
This non-directional tread pattern features really large outer shoulder blocks that are designed to increase contact on the road when you're just cruising around and then provide extra traction when you're scooting around the corners. It also features slanted three-dimensional tread blocks that help evacuate water to eliminate the chances of hydroplaning or losing traction in wet conditions.
Once you're scooting around all the corners, you'll notice a quiet and smooth ride on the highways. Additionally, the continuous tread block on the inner shoulder of the tread block provides the stability you'll need bombing it down the road with little tread flex for improved responsiveness. This also means you're going to have reduced tire wear so you can have more smiles for even more miles.

I've been running Neo Gens for about 4 years, put about 30k miles on 2 different sets and I absolutely love them. For the price I don't think there is a better tire out there. Recently went from a 215/40 to a 205/45 with new wheels and fell in love with them all over again. Just in time for the rainy season here

These tires absolutely preform, I live In the pacific north west and there have been many days where there was a lot of water on the road. This is my daily driver and even going up the mountain in the snow it preforms. Recommend it ? ill be buying nittos for all of my needs

I have only been able to put a couple hundred miles on these tires so far but I'm liking them. They sure are grippy, and i cant wait for it to get warmer out so i can really test them. They have good traction in the rain so far.

2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI

Looking at the tread pattern you would think they would be kinda sketchy in the winter, however, I live in Upper Michigan where we get record snow, and these tires have done great on my car so far. Subaru's AWD really helps but its nothing without some good rubber. These would make great summer tires if your at stock power. Then when winter comes around you can keep them on. They do pretty well for what they are.

PNW spring weather is all over the place, these tires are grippy and quiet so far. They held up very well this morning in ice-fog and cold/wet conditions, 10/10 recommend; I'm putting a set on my WRX in a month.

First, the wheels look stunning on the car, and they are super light compared to stock! Second, make sure you understand aspect ratios before you select tires! I was about 6mm too big, and I ended up having to suck up the cost of buying new tires and getting them replaced on the wheels, thankfully I can use the tires on my other car, so it's not a total loss. The wheels are gorgeous, the Nitto Neo Gens are grippy and awesome, just do your homework before you commit!

The only tire I would want to run with a stretched setup. They stretch very well, look great, don't wear fast surprisingly compared to what you'd expect with a 280 tread wear. Handling is better than most all seasons.
